My husband is currently painting the dining room a historic blue/green and I am dying to try to figure out how to get a drum cover over the 1960’s brass chandelier … voila- binder clips… who knew? I will send you my inspiration in case you haven’t seen how a red taffeta shade that looks like a piece of formal wear can add youthful style to a classic dining room.

Maybe online if you search “– inch shade” for the exact size you’d like? Or does a place like Ikea sell a light with a large shade that you could use (ex: a cheap floor lamp, and then just use the shade and craigslist the lamp base or add a different shade and use that somewhere else).
