I saw a octagon jute rug under a table like yours in a local magazine and it looked great. Just thought I would pass the info along since I thought of you when I saw the picture. And they did have 6 chairs in the pic so I’m sure it would look good with 6 or 8 or whatever number chairs. I’ll try to see if the mag has online pictures.

ok so we recently visited my husband’s family down in PHX.On the way to see his brother in Tucson we stopped at Great Indoors(awesome place) and i saw a table that had the wany texture to the top,and before i could stop myself i found myself telling my husband about how i read your blog and ahow great tables like that were for when we have kids because you aren’t so worried about knicks and scratches.He just tilted his head and told me ” I really have to keep you away from design blogs,don’t i?”…..i think he may be right because i find myself relying on your guys’ advice when it come to decorating my home. Thanks for the inspiration….:)

Thanks for the link! Building eight chairs and then upholstering them might be twenty posts (haha- could take us a year) but it’s not totally off the table. You never know where we’ll end up! Haha.

Though I’m not a particularly big fan of Walmart, I did see green parson chairs on their website for $89 ea (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Metro-Parsons-Chair-Kiwi-Green-Leather/14254080). Or you could just pull an Ana White and build them! :) Now, that’d be a post!
